Trend Micro partners with JOS to meet consumers' security needs in Hong Kong and Asia
Hong Kong – October 11, 2011 – Trend Micro, a global cloud security leader, announced today that it has entered into a partnership with Jardine OneSolution (JOS), a leading provider of integrated IT solutions in Asia, to extend its reach to the consumer market in Hong Kong and Macau. Under the distributorship agreement, all of Trend Micro’s consumer products, including its PC-cillin Internet Security software and mobile security solution, will be distributed to retailers through JOS Distribution.
The general shift away from the use of traditional desktops to mobile devices is leading to a significant increase in the amount of mobile malware attack. This is making consumers more vulnerable than ever, resulting in changing attitudes towards security. Consumers are more concerned about security risks and more demanding about the protection measures they need to take, thus turning to security solutions by market leaders.

The agreement with Trend Micro will significantly enhance JOS’ security product and services offering, addressing reseller’s and customer’s demand for integrated solutions that span the spectrum from security assessment to protection.
